  I love that, for some reason, whenever a Youtuber does a Gabe Newell impression, 9 times out of 10, they decide that Gabe Newell actually speaks like George Lucas now.<br>Like that&apos;s not even just a Penny thing, there&apos;s just something about Gabe Newell that compels people to diagnose him with a terminal case of George Lucas Voice

  I&apos;m here to defend Half Life&apos;s honour.<br>The lever is not encased in glass because ready access is needed to get in and out of the silo. If it were an emergency release then glass would make sense, but as it&apos;s seemingly the only way to control the door it isn&apos;t enclosed.<br>In fact, since the lever is the only way to open the doors there probably should be some kind of emergency access -- perhaps one encased in glass -- in case something happens to the lever.
