  I realize I&apos;m about a year late to this party, but I wanted to &nbsp;provide one piece of advice. I was a professional automotive body and paint technician for most of my life. I&apos;m about to turn 60 my next B-Day. I&apos;ve painted several hundred cars to various degrees of work over my life. My only real critique with this one is after a couple of days, once your clear coat has fully hardened, before polishing, I would lightly sand by hand with 2,000 grit wet/dry paper the ENTIRE hood (aka: bonnet, for our British friends). I would do the light sanding first, and THEN polish the entire surface. First, it will make polishing out that blend line a whole lot quicker and easier, while minimizing the risk of burn-through. However, more importantly it will result in a far more uniform finish across the entire surface of the body panel. <br>That&apos;s just my two cents. (or my two pence, for our British friends) 😉<br><br>Actually, I just thought of one more minor critique. It appeared as if you did only two base costs; although I could be mistaken. In any event, I would always do no less than three base coats, more if needed, and three coats of clear. Otherwise, great job and outstanding video. <br>Okay I&apos;m done. I think that brings me up to four pence now anyway. 😝

  I have learned so much you. I was scared to do a repair on my Benz after someone hit my bumper on a swipe motion. I got a quote of $700 to repair and repair the bumper. My car was a 2016 Mercedes C43 AMG and I took my heat gun, fixed the plastic, and sanded and painted it. I asked my friends if they could see the repair and they told me no. This was my first time do this and I thank you so much for your videos.

  I followed each step, and it came out perfect!<br><br>The only thing i did before putty it is to spray a rust remover spray. And it really worked, it ate all rust. I believe it was called anti rust liquid sanding. Cant believe i did it my self. It looks so so so good. Thank you my friend!

  Is this the proper way to fix rust? No, but it is a great way to spruce up your vehicle without spending a fortune. Very informative and you make it look less intimidating. Great job!

  I’ve been painting commercial vehicles and tractors etc for many years, I will be honest and admit that blending colours and clear coat never was really a task of mine. This explanation is brilliant!!!!<br>Great job!!!<br>Many thanks!!
