  I sent my mom your  "how to style ashtrays" video and I just got back home from college and oh my god there are ashtrays EVERYWHERE in our home 😂😂 She's found a brand new hobby for the summer

  Suggestion, take a little blanket when shopping. Place your glass items... you can fold and overlap it to protect layers of items...

  I would love to see a video where you show all the things you would not buy new and the things that you think should be bought new. Like I thought really nice quality pots and pans are hard to find thrifting. Love to hear your take. ADHD strikes again and I spent my morning deep in the rabbit hole of your thrifting videos, conversing with you/myself. lol this is what happens when you are in a mid life crises hermiting and healing!

  I used to love our Goodwills in Florida. Well off northerners moved down there and immediately started purging all the really nice stuff they had in order to live a new lifestyle. &nbsp;Some either pass or need to &nbsp;move to assisted care, and a whole new upscale household ends up donated.<br><br>We now live in small rural southern area. We do have a couple thrift stores. But they are nothing like our old Florida stores.

  Fiesta Ware is made in Newell, West Virginia. I was born and raised in WV, I have Service for 10 all different Colors. I just adore Fiesta Ware.

  Omg 😱 “Pier one”, what a blow when we lost that one. Remember the displays? They always had such bright colors and fun things. It was like Pandora’s box. I love finding things from there while thrifting. 90’s style brings me back to a time when the biggest issue was if Milli Vannilli lip synched to their music, lol, or was that 80’s, when “The flowers that you gave me were just about to die”? Regardless the nostalgic way I feel when I spot things from those times really pulls at my heart strings. Things really did feel much safer and less complicated. I often wish I would have known to appreciate those times more. I feel as if I’ve spent the majority of my life trying to get somewhere else when where I was was the perfect place to be. Time really is speeding by, enjoying your boys while they are little and still wanting to hang out with mama is seriously the priority in life if you ask me. My son is 13 and he is going to boarding school (his choice), and I would give anything to have him wanting to be with mama like he used to. Everyone always said, “treasure it it goes by so fast” I never listened and I feel I rushed everything (including his childhood) trying to be what society wanted, productive, successful, purposeful not realizing that raising my son was all that and more and now that it’s passed me by I’m truly regretful of not being as present as I could have been. This has been a season of grieving for all that was, no one ever talks about this and I have to admit to being a bit blindsided by this sadness now that my family had disbanded and nothing turned out as promised (by society). Thrifting has helped me immensely in this season but now I have a home full of “stuff” and feel so heavy as many things &nbsp;need to be moved on to new homes but my adhd has made it very difficult to take the next steps to either start an Etsy, post on market place and of have my own booth. <br>I love all those wood things that bowl is fab. Omg the fiesta ware!! <br>“<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=donYaWZfftg&amp;t=438">7:18</a>”, lol. The cobalt blue is beautiful!! I also love iridescent things, that’s my passion like the blue and white is yours. I’m seriously obsessed. The fact that there was a time that it was common to have iridescent items in your home lights me up and I love finding it in the wild. I’ve also been looking at for a fairy light, I’ve also found the pieces but not a matching set. My whole house is like a fairy wonderland. I’ve kind of given up searching for one as they are all over priced at this point, from what I’ve seen but I hope you find the perfect one someday! You passed up that perfect seashell plate. I collect cool plates to put under plants. I live in the mountains so I have to pass up seashell things and stick to deer antlers and pottery pieces. lol 😂 Pyrex also feels over rated at this stage. I like to find things that are whimsical and unexpected. I know you do as well. I love the things you find! You have much better impulse control, I’m working on mine and like I said I do hear your voice in my head as I thrift and I leave many more pieces then I did before I started watching your videos. <br>Yes to the monthly sale, you have so many followers that I think would love to partake. <br>I also love how you put things back together. That “thistle” piece was seriously over priced but the next one I loved. I love orange and blue together, I love color so so much and different combinations that are striking really light me up. Okay I better get off here and start my day. I hope this finds you and yours well! I too love “hob nail”, I never knew the name until your videos.
