  When my company closed during the pandemic, I started reselling vintage clothing and home decor to pay the bills. Now 6 years later, my side gig has grown into a thriving business to supplement my retirement income. I love setting my own schedule, curating interesting pieces and being able to shop for a living. At age 65, it's also something I can do for many years ahead!

  For a guy that was once very camera shy Jesse has sure blossomed. I have to say Jesse has been showing us his witty, clever side more and more. He had me laughing quite a bit and the faux Lane table he called Lame was a quick response that got an out loud belly laugh from me. I’m so glad you two are doing this together full time now as you compliment each other well. The trophys he kept finding were hilarious.

  I just found a stack of Fire and Light dinner plates last night at Goodwill for $2.99 each! Never knew they made vases, what an awesome find.

  Pro tip on those Japanese metal teapots, check the glaze inside. If it’s smoothe inside, then it’s a good quality pot. If it is rough texture inside it’s a poor quality one that will not be worth much and will end up giving the tea a metallic taste.

  I do like this style of video because honestly there are probably a lot of us out here, myself included, that really only go to one or two thrift stores regularly- not driving out of town etc. So it is fun to see that you can still find gems at the same place day after day!
