So nice to listen to someone who has integrated well with people and the environment. Speaks well of his parents, maintains lifelong relationships. Grateful for his gifts and talents. Wow. Someone who is.a real role model. Please interview more interesting and brilliant people like this man.

Matt - I’ve been enjoying every episode of your program. What makes it so special and valuable to me is seeing the trajectory of people’s and how they reached their understanding and appreciation of their environment—not just the plants, the garden, the structures, or the furniture, but how they actually live with all of it.

And a special thanks to every guest on your program—though I sometimes wonder if I should call them “host”? Since we’re the ones being welcomed into their space, both physically and emotionally. Either way, it’s an extraordinarily generous thing to offer to the world.

I love these in-depth conversations with such interesting people, even more than their space. Just a great interviewer, because you put people at ease and therefore they open up and give such great testament of their passions and talents

I have such huge respect for Tom Stuart Smith and his family. The Plant Library and the connection with Sunnyside Rural Trust is such a wonderful cause. I'm very lucky that I live in the next village and, as a 'Friend ' of the Plant Library, get to visit as often as I can. And they are all such thoroughly nice people.

These conversations are so well done. I pricked up my ears when Sue was mentioned as I’m re-reading her book at the moment, having bought it on high recommendation a few years ago. I think the garden and the mind are very good companions and many difficult times are assisted by gardening. A young start is very good. My niche in the family was growing tomatoes. It became my job when I was about 4.
