Back in 2003 i paid £3500 for my 92 fd3s, £5800 landed in uk. Got a loan for 6k paid it all back within 12months with only £200 interest. Loan company shut down, but ive still got the car.<br><br>I was very lucky, I feel real sorry for the younger generations and the cost of living.

Bought a 1989 skyline gt-r for $8,000 (final price including delivery to my place in Alberta, Canada) CAD back in 2008... sold out a couple years later for $10,000 before I went back to school. By the time I got out of school in 2016 they were worth $30,000 (they were starting to be available in the states so the price skyrocketed). Biggest mistake I've made, never gonna own one again😢😢.

In Japan to own a car you have to prove you have a place to park it. Older cars have to pay a high primum to register year after year. Most older cars use to be torn down [engine and trans removed] and shipped off to other parts of Asia. Great cars.
