for anyone needs a copy:

Part 1 The Practice Blueprint
Phase 1 Beginner:
1. Copy what you see (from life or reference)
2. Study fundamentals (of what you copied)
3. Practice from imagination
Phase 2 Advanced:
1. Construct what you observe (analysis first)
2. Study fundamentals
3. Practice from imagination

Part 2 The Brain Hacks
1. Create urgency (urgency help you remember better). Teach what you learn. Go public with your goals. Risk something like placing a bet or make a deal with your goal. Create a visual goal with a countdown timer.
2. Deliberate Studies. Zero distractions(low volume instrumental at most). Acquire a structured study that goes from simple to complex.

Part 3 The focus Method.
20 percent of theory gives 80 percet of result. Identify the most important skills (such as simple body constructions). Master fundementals first.

Another piece of this puzzle is sleep! Sleep sends everything you learn to long term memory so high quality and consistent sleep is crucial for solidifying your learning.

at highschool I'd spend long periods of time without drawing, being busy and tired, but I'd always keep consuming other people's art and observing how people drew things I had a hard time with, I remember spending 6 months without drawing anything and then when I grabbed the pencil again I was able to draw hands better by remembering how other artists did it

The fact that Marc keeps making the same videos over time but every time he shows and tells us better versions of the previous ones proves it right

Wow this comes just at the right time in my artistic journey! I recently realized I needed to structure my learning more, and that actually studying is a skill I was never taught and never spontaneously developped because the structure of the education I went through never made it a need.

Merci beaucoup de ton partage de ces techniques secrètes qui devraient vraiment ne pas l’être parce que c’est une pièce du puzzle tellement essentielle!

Oh! I'm always doing this since, usually, I'm already exhausted after work. Like, just staring at a human anatomy drawing, dynamic pose, etc, trace it w/ my eyes n try to draw it inside my brain while commuting. It always gives me a wow feeling when I'm able to pull it for real despite not having any time to practise. Also, I'm quite an adrenaline junkie, I set my time to be able to finish at least 4-6 pages of a manga within 4-8hours. I don't punish myself if I fail, though, but I always keep in my mind that there won't be any new book if I miss the printing company deadline LOL
