Living solely on SSDI , my cost of living increase comes out to ONE THIRD OF A PENNY PER HOUR RAISE ! YES ! ONE THIRD OF A PENNY PER HOUR RAISE ! After working over 4 decades I never saw a ONE THIRD OF A PENNY PER HOUR RAISE ! THEY MUST KNOW THAT WE FALL FARTHER BACK EVERY YEAR !

What difference does it make? They just raise the insurance rates, and you pay taxes on the elevated amount to put you in the next tax bracket.

Many SSI Checks are UNDER < $1,000 a month. Some folks got sick and did not qualify for disability. Some stay at home parents. Etc. It’s really difficult to survive on $$800.00 per month.

Yep, the government giveth and immediately taketh awayeth. They're taking $180+ a month out of my $1097 for medical I have never used dropping down my benefits to receiving $915 month. I'm a disabled veteran being denied every form of quality of life from a system I have paid into my entire life and yet the polittians make $174,000 a year and don't even have to show up for work.

They give us a raise, then the then the food stamps get cut that amount, so the government is the one getting the money back. It's a scam. 😮

Anything about awarding the middle class money, DO NOT BELIEVE IT until you receive the check and it clears or is deposited directly in your bank or C/U. Remember the the Government is very efficient when it comes to “clawing back” monies SSA has already paid over years!
