I love that “the protagonist squints really hard at the situation then running away” is the ending for most Lovecraft stories.

The fact that Mi-Go will go to the trouble of editing memories suggests they must be a lot more benevolent than the Qu, just too alien to properly grasp human nature. They must have noticed that simply planting a person's brain in a different body leads to varying levels of dysfunction (i.e. confusion, anxiety, panic, despair, terror). Editing the memories responsible allows the subjects to function unhampered and thrive in their new bodies. They're the kindest most considerate body-swapping eldritch horrors.

I actually really like that each Mi-Go only carries one jar at a time, it fits their personalities as scientific researchers. After all, you can only study one research subject at a time, and if you were doing an experiment that required multiple brains then you would need multiple Mi-Go to cooperate on it.<br>Actually, if you look at it that way, a Mi-Go carrying a bunch of cannisters would probably be the equivalent of a Mi-Go mad scientist. A renegade lone researcher doing unethical (by Mi-Go standards) experiments on his subjects.

I wasn't prepared for the Lovecraft-to-Zuckerberg-to-Lovecraft transition. God, that's gonna mess with my head now. 😂

I can see the mi-go absolutely hating star spawn because the star Spawn refuse to do any scientific notation on the messed up stuff they do, wasting research materials in the eyes of the mi-go.

An Abberant Mind Sorcerer who got their power implanted into them by a Mi-Go and can't remember anything about how or why it happened would be a very interesting character to play.
