Him and Lemiuex single handedly saved hockey in this city. Let us never forget that! (And Malkin too getting him after Crosby doubles the hype and talent)

Crosby played his first NHL game the day after my first birthday, and how did my hockey-loving family celebrate? We watched hockey, of course. I grew up watching Sid the Kid, who has always been my favorite hockey player. It’s been so incredible watching this Pens team evolve for the past 15 years. This video was incredible, let’s make the playoffs, guys 🐧💛🖤🐧

One of the greatest professional athletes of all time. Watching sid and geno play together made me fall in love with the game of hockey. I’ll always be grateful for that.

When he watched all his teammates copy him in warm-ups I think he finally realized what a legend he's become.

“It’s a privilege to play in this league”
Goes for others(nba, nfl, mlb etc..)

Something that needs to be relayed to other athletes (mostly in other sports).
