I haven't really paid much attention to Lucid since they're not available here in the UK and likely won't be for some time. However, this is just an astonishing piece of design and engineering. The packaging is just sublime! The way the rear seats fold away giving a completely flat boot; the fact the middle row folds completely flat; the layout and accessibility of the controls for the driver; that frunk with the drop hatch! They've absolutely nailed everything here. Bravo!

What Ricky called a front fog light is actually the high-beam light for the Gravity. In order to make the frunk opening wider, Lucid moved the high beam from the main headlight array (where it is in the Air) down to the air intake module of the Gravity.

Lucid undoubtedly leads the industry in design, performance and quality. It's unfortunate that they don't seem to be able to figure out mass production, to become a self sustaining company. They don't need to become Toyota, but at least be as self sustaining as the luxury brands of old, if you intend to replace them. I've not seen or heard a Lucid strategy that explains their roadmap to a self sustaining business model. Their drive unit is an Art piece though. Belongs in a museum honestly.

Most people will never be able to afford this car but the hope is that some of the tech will trickle down over the next decade to the more affordable vehicles! Good job.
