I love Vintage Story. The devs were once mod creators for Minecraft but they got tired of working around Minecraft's engine and just decided to make their own. That's why it looks a lot like Minecraft.

I definitely recommend watching more of his series, plus his VotV series.

 20:05
girl this game is insane insane
like it simulates your distance from the equator to properly angle the sun's trajectory to the time of year 😂
that's northern winter sun alr
oh and this level of stupidly in depth simulation is in almost every single mechanic, I'd highly reccomend trying it out if it looks cool but going into it thinking it's just like minecraft is literally setting yourself up to quit after a couple hours of getting nothing done😅

Welcome to the rubixraptor Vintage story rabbit hole. It's crazy cozy and fun. Jay has done two series on it, one modded and one rule play modded. I heavily recommend checking out all of the Vintage story videos.

You should totally react to his Avalon series and his world of ren series. Avalon is just Modded, whereas world of Ren is fantasy modded with roleplay similar to those Minecraft civilization videos with different factions. (Technically Rubix is also making a post-apocalytic Vintage story series called Torched right now that's inspired by Dune, Fallout and Kenshi. but as of writing this only one video is out and another is prob gonna release this weekend, just a heads up. And all of them should have individual playlists in chronological order)
