I told myself to put all that love and effort I put out to these toxic relationships including toxic family, into my life instead. Now I have more energy, more self respect and way more money to use for what I want and need. Let these people fend for themselves. You didn't break them or make them, you cannot fix anyone but yourself.

His devaluing began hardcore as we were arriving home from the honeymoon in the form of downing my family. His was splintered while mine was not. I remember feeling so confused about it all. That marriage began 45 years ago today and officially ended a year ago. To be able to awaken every single day without the barrage of insults and put downs is relief that I cannot describe. It’s everything.

If you can run from a narcissist, get going!!! If you don’t have children with one, never do!!! If you do have a child or children with one, GO FOR FULL CUSTODY AND PROTECT THOSE CHILDREN AT ALL COSTS!!!! They’ll steal, manipulate, betray, and exploit.

If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.

Often, the first red flag comes from your own intuition. Your body will pick up on cues long before your mind fully processes them. You may notice discomfort or tension around this person without being able to point to one specific thing. That alone is worth paying attention to the very fact that you're questioning their behavior is a sign that something feels off.
A narcissistic partner, especially a more subtle or “covert” one, often appears charming in the beginning. They know how to blend in, how to compliment others, and how to seem emotionally in tune. But underneath the surface, there's usually a hint of superiority, even if it's masked behind a soft-spoken or humble exterior.
Their sense of superiority typically comes from deep insecurity. Because of this, they may put others down quietly a small comment here, a dismissive gesture there all to elevate themselves. But if they believe you're out of their league, they may swing the opposite direction and become overly accommodating, almost clingy. They may try too hard to please you, act overly devoted, or seem anxious to keep your attention.
However, this dynamic can flip quickly. Once you commit or show affection, the covert narcissist may begin devaluing you. In their distorted worldview, anyone who loves them must be inferior, and they may feel entitled to treat that person poorly. What begins as idealization can turn into criticism, passive aggression, and emotional withdrawal.
Pay close attention to how they talk about others. Frequent harsh judgments, belittling comments, or the inability to empathize with people who depend on them are all telling signs. Narcissistic partners often resent individuals they can't use for personal gain and may show impatience, contempt, or coldness toward them.
If you’re worried about infidelity or manipulation
Changes in online behavior, secrecy, or defensiveness can be painful and confusing. If your partner becomes increasingly withdrawn, spends far more time on certain apps without explanation, or reacts strongly when you ask basic questions, that’s worth addressing.
Instead of resorting to covert monitoring which is unsafe and violates privacy a healthier and legally sound approach is to seek help through appropriate channels
You can consult a licensed relationship counselor or, if you believe investigation is necessary, contact a legitimate, reputable private investigator through proper legal means.
A professional can explain what is allowed by law and help guide you safely and ethically, Ask JAYBEEINVESTIGATORLLC@gmail . Com what to do

I promise I’m not a needy person but after three years it broke me. After a full year of healing (went no contact) I’m just now getting me back.

After being married for 25 years, I got divorced. Started seeing a guy, & realized within a matter of a few months, that he was/is a narcissist. Master gaslighter…Mind-blowing! 🤯 I’m so happy to have come to my senses, & ended that mess. Never again!!!
