  I absolutely love them. They let me make the best Jack Frost I can without having to use a fusion calculator to get everything I want passed down to him in one go.

  the real skill comes in not giving into the temptation of the skill card and just brute forcing your way through like a true gamer

  Skill cards are fun to use in runs where you only use specific personas (like starters only)  but when playing like normal with all the fusion and stuff, they can create absolute monster personas

  My ass closing and opening the fusing screen for Personas in 3 over a hundred times to inherit the perfect set of skills : "Oh yeah Skill Cards are lame."

  In addition to TMs in Pokémon, there's also Egg Moves, which is a kind of move that a Pokémon can only learn if one of it's parents had the move, even if you have the same TM.

  The funny thing is what you said about P3R was one of the reasons it was my favourite. I loved being able to choose persona's I liked visually and just decking them out how I wanted.

  On my first playthrough of P5R, I got the Drain Physical skill card in an itemization accident in the 4th palace and my party was around level 45. Joker instantly became practically immortal and I rarely ran into any roadblocks on Merciless

  More mechanical analysis would be great. I love the "meta" discussion of Persona games. Stuff like the relative strength of consumable items, and the usefulness of certain support skills.
