Dragon Ball is not a prequel, it's just the start of the story. In the original manga, it's all just called Dragon Ball, they came up with the name Dragon Ball Z for the anime. (Z because they thought the story would come to an end soon, which is hilarious in retrospect)

Every time she saw a guy she didn't recognize and said she liked them and they were her guy, it's literally been Goku's son, Gohan each time, just at different ages. She picked the same character in every intro without even knowing it. Guess that means he's automatically her favorite.

Yes the guy you gravitated towards is his son, he was the same kid at the beginning with a tail and we see him grow up

13:30 Fun Fact: When it comes to Dragon Ball GT, the fandom is divided on it. Some love it some don't due to personal preferences. One thing that is pretty universally agreed upon in the fandom is that Dragon Ball GT's opening Dan Dan Kokoro Hikarateku is one of the best openings in the franchise.
