What a fantastic itinerary! This feels like a true celebration of the city's authentic character—getting right to the hearty food, legendary spots, and spirited fun that defines the real Pittsburgh experience.

I am 71 and I have lived in Pittsburgh all my life on the southside there used to be around 10 or 12 in clients for the steelworkers to get home down the end of Carson Street used to be a steel mill that was about four or five blocks long and the town was always covered with a dust after they started closing down the mills. The town got much cleaner and a lot of really neat places started popping up around the city. Also, on the south side is a swimming pool that the workers from the Mills used to go down and shower and swim in the pool before they went home. There’s a lot of very interesting things about Pittsburgh. The museums are wonderful. The zoo is really neat. The Avery and the conservatory are wonderful places to visit also so if you come to Pittsburgh, try to get a list of the places around the city and a little outside the city like the zoo to go visit I think you’d enjoy it.

If I ever return I'd go with half of your suggestions. My family is gone as are most of my classmates who were who I could call friends.

Love Pittsburgh! My daughter insisted we take the drive from DC to see Taylor Swift's Eras Tour there and we have no regrets! Wonderful town ... wonderful concert! They were so accommodating to those who could not get a ticket, people were allowed to set up lawn chairs outside the open stadium and enjoy the music! Thank you for all your tour videos!

Dude, I’m from Pittsburgh and still rep a 412 area code phone number. My first thought upon seeing that you were doing a Pittsburgh travel video is “This guy had better not screw this video up or he’s going to piss off a lot of people…”
I’d like to be the first to say that you did a pretty damned good job! I’m personally not a huge Permanti Bros. fan, but I suppose you were kind of obligated to go.
The top 3 things I would have added are there are some REALLY nice restaurants at the top of Mt Washington that offer a fine dining experience with that fantastic view (which is really better at night. My personal favorite is the Le Mont.), a trip to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History which has one of the largest collections of complete dinosaur skeletons in the world, and a trip to see a Steelers game at the stadium formerly known as Heinz Field. Going to a home Steelers game is a truly religious experience I’d put above going to Mecca during the Haj.
Your trip looked pretty seriously legit! Glad you had a good time in Pittsburgh!

If you own a bicycle bring it when you visit Pittsburgh. The city has amazing bike trails that will take you to (or close to) most of the places mentioned in this video.
