  Alekhine played chess as an art. I hadn't played chess for twenty years. I became fascinated with chess again when I saw Alekhine's games 4 years ago. 3 days ago, Firuzja also played an amazing game against Nakamura that reminded me of Alekhine

  Sir ur videos are very amazing . We want a series in which u show us some 5-6 games of each historical grand master and other famous and even underrated strong players. In these videos u can teach us the ideas they use through the example games. Btw u know how to teach i don&apos;t have to tell much .   Excellent! &nbsp; Brought to mind the most basic military principle of getting there first with the most. &nbsp;The other thing I noticed was how much slower black advanced. &nbsp;When playing black, I find it critical to play with brisk tempo and open things up, even to the point of blowing up the center, in order to overcome the baked in tempo disadvantage. &nbsp;Nimzovich allowed the tempo disadvantage to widen, to the point of being trapped..

  It’s like a luxury for Alekhine to have the chance of methodically creating that double rook threat with the queen backing up. It’s the ultimate power position advantage, especially with that bishop pin from b5. But he was always in control of this match from the start.
