My child's teacher dropped off our food. She said she does it a few days a week to make ends meet. She is wonderful, but the current economy isn't kind to regular, hard-working Americans.

She should become a claims adjuster where she can get a consistent paycheck and not have to depend on sales. There are many jobs in the insurance field. Most insurance companies like Progressive, Geico, USAA will train you and get you certified. Starting pay is $50K
