  When I was struggling for money to put food on the table for my kids you fkn know I stopped smoking and drinking. I don't know how anyone could be selfish enough not to stop for your kids. Disgusting.

  Sadly, they waste money on cigarettes where that money could be spent on food.  Praying 🙏🏻 for all these children.

  These kids shouldn't have to worry about their parents mental health. I have depression/anxiety and I don't force that on my kids. They don't even know I have the diagnosis.

  I was brought up dirt poor. My Mam and dad smoked above putting food on the table. She borrowed off my nanna every week to put something on the table. She was a horrible parent, the experience taught me to have plenty of food in my house. I refuse to go to bed freezing, like I did as a kid. These things stay with you for life. <br>There were no food banks in those days, unfortunately.

  Lord have mercy these kids will break your heart into a million pieces. It&apos;s the fierce intelligence which breaks me, I just hope it&apos;s not squandered because of circumstance.

  Courtney is such a great girl. I hope she is successful now as an adult... I will always think of her. I think this was filmed a long time ago. But I know when raised in a situation it usually follows through adulthood 😢

  I’ve struggled so bad with my now 10y old son,we’ve been through thick and thin together,but never once did he go to bed hungry or to school hungry,I gave up everything,manicure,cigarettes,coffee etc,I’ve gone to bed hungry and felt good cause he was full,we’ve slept with hot water bags.<br>To gain some success you gotta give up on certain things as an adult and I don’t think neither of these parents did that.
