I feel like Korn is what we all needed coming out of the grunge era. Grunge showed us how depressed and messed up we all were, and Korn showed us what to do with all that pent up anger and frustration.

At 40 years old, every time I hear Korn these days, it takes me right back to when I was 14, trying to grow dreads, baggy jeans, Korn hoodie, fat DCs on and earphones in, hanging with my mates. It is honestly one of those memories for me that isn't just a bunch of vague images in my mind, I can feel the memory in my chest, like I am actually there again.

I went to see Korn live twice. I've never seen a crowd erupt like they did when he screamed,' ARE YOU READY??' I still feel that sensation when I hear it 25 years later.

I brought my 15 yr old daughter to see Korn last week in London. It was her first metal show and our first show together. Had a blast, great show and quality Dad/daughter time 🤟❤️🇨🇦

I've been in their crowds. It's like sardines. One jumps, everyone jumps. It's like being in the sea. It's AMAZING!!! And the feeling of hearing that "ARE YOU READDDYYYY???" by then. Everyone is!!!

As someone who was at Woodstock '99, I can't reiterate more what ~250K people looked like watching the same band at the same time. It was a literal sea of humanity in 90º heat / humidity.

I've worked concert security for 14 years. I work 70+ shows and attend dozens of concerts per year when I'm not working them. Korn is the only band that has the crowd swaying side to side like that. I'm 6'2", 280lbs and standing in the crowd I was forced to move left and right with them about 10 to 15 feet each way especially during Blind. The energy is insane...

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jonathan Davis and spending a good 45 minutes with him in the FOH mixing booth at Lalapalooza 97. The man is an absolute monster on stage and one of the realest, most gracious and humble humans you could meet, in person.<br><br>Elizabeth, all of the angst and ragey things you picked up on in this video and song analysis become crystal clear when you learn his tragic backstory. He put it all out there for the world to see on their debut album in a song called Daddy… Jonathan is one of the most courageous and truly brave people you will ever find.<br><br>Footnote:, I don’t suggest you listen to Daddy, if you’re not in a good headspace, and even if you are, prepare to be torn out of that good headspace and weep like you never have before.
