Wow. Mad respect. Loved how the judge said he believes the defendant understands the charges, but would express confusion if asked about it. That’s exactly what the sov cit would have done.

I love the way the judge calmly, clearly and politely explains to him in excruciatingly painful detail that he is an annoying idiot that is not nearly as clever as he thinks he is, has no idea what he's doing, and his stupid time wasting games will not be indulged in any way. The judge makes it crystal clear that he understands the game far better than the defendant does, knows all of the moves in advance, and has no interest at all in playing. The judge then explains, again very politely, that this is the way things are going to work, the subject is not up for discussion or negotiation, and the alternatives are going to be very unpleasant. The look on the defendants face as his righteous indignation is punctured and slowly deflates as the realisation that his whole game plan has just become useless is priceless. It's sort of the way he'd look after being run over by a truck, which in a way, he was.
