My best friend and I went to the ballet and dinner. I got the tickets for the ballet, she got dinner. It was a great Christmas gift.

I work remote and my team did a gift exchange with a twist: we exchanged names, then bought a toy that we thought that co-worker would have loved as a kid. We had a remote meeting where we showed off the toys and then we DONATED THEM to a local charity of our choosing. All the fun, none of the garbage and kids in need get toys! So many wins!

I got gifted one of those "murder mystery" boxes for Christmas from my mother-in-law like 3 years ago, and after my spouse and I finished it (it's literally one of those things you can only do once), it moved with us twice. I felt so guilty about regifting it because she gave it to me! We got invited to a White Elephant last year and we didn't have time to buy anything new, so I just wrapped and brought the murder mystery box. It was a MASSIVE hit. No one cared that it was opened, it got stolen 3 times and locked. It made me realize that regifting things is LITERALLY FINE. It gave us one less thing to move with, and was genuinely appreciated by the person who received it. A solid win for everyone.
