People used to take pictures of family who had passed away! Especially you f children a a remembrance! Back about 1974 I had visited my grandparents for the last 5pm as they passed about 3 years later! I was snooping I; the dresser in the room I always stayed in and found photos of my Grandmother’s sister after she died! She had been in an institution for many years! And many years later when my husband’s Dad passed away he asked me to take a few pictures as he just couldn’t. I did - I have no idea where the photos are now but I’m sure he still has them! It was a way of remembering and I don’t think it’s weird but they also are not to share!

How did they get colors from a 1903 black and white photo??? I think the baby is dead, which is why it was hidden. Photos of the dead was frequently done.

I love the pictures but a brief backstory would be much better than an AI written; long drawn out cliff hanger. J. Herman
