  Steph gave them a chance to build, realized the front office couldn’t or wouldn’t, and decided, if I’m going to be on a losing team, at least I should get paid.

  Steph was going to take a discount if the team provided him a roster upgrade. They provided nothing so he just took all the money for himself. Might as well

  Warriors organization knows that if/once Steph leaves, those ticket sales are going to plummet. Sure you won’t win, but at long as he’s a Warrior, you’ll at least be making money. One thing an organization cares about more than winning is making money. They can only hope to get another big name post Curry era

  Steph is who he is. He's got four rings, and while I'm sure he'd like one for the thumb, he's got a comfortable situation, the Bay Area's a nice place to live, and he's happy to be here. I don't think anyone thought that a skinny kid from Davidson who made one run to the Elite Eight and knocked off #2 seed Georgetown in the second round would end up being one of the most impactful NBA players of all time.

  GS already showed curry they're not gonna contend so he decided to get paid instead, can't blame him. He's clearly not interested in competing otherwise he would've left years ago.

  Stephen Curry is the only reason why the Warriors are this loved. Besides Wilt in the 1960s and Barry in the 1970s their chances of winning a championship were 0. Untill Steph Curry came around, Stephen Curry saved this entire team.

  I think Steph's biggest success when it's all said and done would be insane level of success with single team in very competitive era and being top 10 player late into his career putting team on his back. He doesn't need any more rings (although I imagine he would love to get another if opportunity presents itself) to prove anything
