  Greetings from Aus from another over 70 traveller. Finally a like minded sole! My mantra : there are shops where I travel, I can wash my clothes and I really don’t care what others think about my dress choices.

  I appreciate your video as it addresses packing needs of the more active traveler. I put my shoes in plastic bags as I don’t want dirt on my clothes. I believe I own exactly the same carry-on personal item that you do. Thanks for the fun video.

  I put my shoes in plastic bread bags before putting them in the suitcase to keep them separate from my clothes. I take an empty water bottle and refill it at one of the water bottle stations after going through security. <br><br>For clothing I keep it simple but add a couple of pieces like maybe a black and white striped long-sleeved shirt, a black and white chevron patterned maxi skirt and/or a print vneck sleeveless flowy mini dress (that I use as a long top) that I can wear with cropped leggings and layer either a tank, short sleeved shirt, or long sleeved shirt underneath depending on the weather. The most versatile piece that I have is my long-sleeve chambray shirt that&apos;s one size up from what would fit me perfectly. The larger size lets me tie it in front, wear it open like a light jacket, or wear another layer underneath if it&apos;s chilly. The longer shirt lets me wear it with leggings too. I also bring different pieces of jewelry to change up the look of the outfits.

  Toiltries, umbrella, jewelry &nbsp;paper docs (essential emergency situation), snacks, no purse, unrealistic to wear one pair of shoes for 45 days straight (damaged, too wet to wear, soles come apart, etc) soooo much missing. I am 79, europe 2x a year, 3 shirts &nbsp;2 pants &nbsp;rent apts w/washer.

  Hope you are enjoying your trip. &nbsp;77 in November here and everyone I know calls my suitcase &quot;the Barbie suitcase&quot;. &nbsp;It is amazing what fits when packing correctly. &nbsp;I always say that all other countries have the best laundries and dry cleaners - they take it in morning and it is back in the afternoon. &nbsp;Much cheaper than USA, very soft clothing and allows for Barbie suitcases. lol

  I do the same thing — wear water shoes as slippers. I also wear them in the shower if there is no non-slip mat.

  Just found your channel - I hope it grows - you deserve it! &nbsp;I&apos;m 73 and agree with you completely about packing LIGHT. &nbsp;In fact I&apos;ve decluttered my whole life to match my tiny suitcase LOL.

  Just found your channel!!! Thank you for sharing your cancer journey and dragonfly meaning. As far as the water bottle, it does need to be empty when going thru TSA/security, it can be refilled when you get on airside. I often find a refill station near the restrooms or will tip a bartender a dollar/euro to fill it for me. Your color pallet is beautiful. It would take me longer to tire of it than all black/grey. I currently travel with greens/teals with a bit of purple. Three weeks on a cruise and I was still enjoying them.
