My kids would often introduce me to this "New" song that they love, and then I would start singing along. They would be shocked that I already knew the words. I would then introduce them to the original of that song.

To be fair, a Rolodex was usually for an office or parents contacts. As a teen we either memorized our friends phone numbers or carried a tiny little black phone book everywhere. If you had too many friends with the same last name letter, you had to carry them into another letter, or enter by first name instead.

Gen x here, what I miss the most is seeing kids playing outside unsupervised all day. Ill never forget those memories. The adventures were so fun. I feel bad for the kids in front of screens all day.
