  I used to battle with this. When my love for Jesus increased, my love for this sin vanished and it became so easy to turn away from it

  As one who has paid the high price of watching, I will make sure this gets spread everywhere. Thankful for Desiring God. There is still hope. There is always hope! Heaven rejoices over 1 sinner who repents and believes the Gospel.

  Lord, help me as I’ve been struggling with an unholy paraphilic sexual attraction.<br><br>Lord, only You knows what childhood events left my soul scarred, destroyed my mind. Only You knows how the Devil took advantage of my vulnerability <br><br>It had been a long time since I’ve been hearing Your spirit telling me to stop, but instead of calling for Your help, instead of obeying, I had been letting the dark voices win : I watched sin.<br><br>Only You Lord knows how often I have fallen. I feel ashamed. I feel disgusting, but I know I am forgiven.<br><br>I trust you Lord in this rough battle against my flesh. Please pray for me, brothers/sisters in Christ.

  Since myself and my husband have stopped watching anything with this type of content pg-13 included, I have been so greatful how much the lord has shown me about what watching this did to us.

  Absolutely, can not sleep peacefully while willfully sinning… unless you harden your heart, quit reading the Bible, and deceive yourself with false security that you’re going to heaven anyways
