Lots of good advice in this video for first time hikers. <br><br>** On the descending trail down the Yoshida trail you have to be careful you don't branch off (right) onto the Subashiri trail. I have made this mistake in the past. They now have a repeating automated announcement at that point and often a guide too. Yellow markers is the Yoshida trail. Red markers are for the Subashiri trail.

Fantastic guide!  I have been planning a trip to hike Mt. Fuji for a long time.  I might do it this year and this really helped me to get my head around it even more!  Thanks!
