Cheap ways I updated my home. 1) I replaced the medal vent coverings with wooden ones to match the floors. 2) I changed all the tolit seats (not with the plastic ones) 3) ight switch coverings. 4) over head lighting fixtures. Got rid of blins and replaced with curtains that can be washed. Small things but made a big difference in visuals and clean up.

Hollow-core doors are also a hazard in the event of a fire. They catch fire quickly. A door that is solid hardwood will offer some protection, because it will burn more slowly. Hardwood, NOT softwood like pine. Oak is best.

Thank you. Question: 1908 foursquare farm house. What should I use for switch and outlet plates? Need matching switches and receptacles - that's the part I can't figure out

You forgot the number one thing expensive homes always have, and that is that they smell good! Like they have a fragrance machine or something pumping perfume into every room! Idk if they are using oils or wax burners or just an auto spray, but expensive nice homes always smell fantastic inside...

Why do all these videos have 10 minutes of redundancy dialogue that adds nothing to the video?? Highly annoying.

Take a look at the living room at 59 seconds. It has a stairway with no handrail, and a platform that a little child could walk right off of. I don't care how expensive that room seems - the people that built that are ignorant and nasty.
