  For Johnson, I think it makes sense for Judge Man to be his Boss Monster, since even though he never summoned himself, he primarily relied on his Deck Master Ability “Clear The Courtroom”.

  Gotta love the boss monsters!<br><br>Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon may not have any abilities or cool protections...but it does look really cool and hits really hard.

  My favourite boss monster from Duel Monsters is Dark Paladin. The design looks awesome and it’s a cool card. Looking forward to the rest of the shows being covered in this series.

  For the argument and grey areas for which monsters are the &quot;boss monster&quot; I think a better way to look at it, rather than being &quot;is this the card that facilitates the win condition&quot; is &quot;is this the monster that needs to be beaten to win rhe duel&quot;.<br><br>Using crump as an example. &nbsp;The torpedo penguin was the win condition for him, but that was such a tiny monster it could easily be taken out and he could pivot to another strategy. &nbsp;Whereas the defender iceberg, that&apos;s a monster that has to be dealt with in order for the opponent to win. &nbsp;It&apos;s the final boss, to say in game terms.<br><br>Of course we have to analyze hypothetical situations instead of just specific duels. &nbsp;Bandit Keith, for example, his boss monster is barrel dragon, even though the final card joey had to get over was the slot machine. &nbsp;In most duels, barrel dragon would be the final, biggest threat you&apos;d have to overcome.<br><br>This is also why I dont like classing monsters like Lava Golem as boss monsters because you cant really summon them to your field. If anything it&apos;s now kind of a problem that you have to deal with rather than your opponent
