You 100% can save the officer stuck in the gas chamber, it requires you to find a valve to shut the gas off.

The creature designs in this were topnotch. Some of the best I've seen in any medium. I was a big fan of it and it's a shame the franchise died.

This is to me one of those games way out of my comfort zone that I actually like for their characters, monsters and gameplay

I wish this game got remastered! I would love to play it!

I remember the flashing rorschach images were caused by having a full insanity meter for too long. I generally just kept it a little from full while traveling.

I was like 13 at the time this game came out. I used some of the money I made from working with my dad over that summer to buy this game because the cover looked pretty interesting to me. I'm not gonna lie, I got kinda freaked out by it after maybe like a few minutes into the game. So I put the game down and played other games and kinda forgot about it. A week before winter break, I ended up getting suspended for two weeks. In total, I had four weeks off of school. Seeing that I had so much free time, I started playing and beating a good amount of previously unfinished games including this one. After starting a new game I got hooked and realized this game was way better than what I was expecting. Tons of lore, great gameplay and awesome environments. I couldn't put it down. I even beat the game with all the endings in every difficulty. Thanks for reviewing this game. It became one of my favorite games and definitely needs more spotlight on it for potentially a remake/re-imagining or remaster.

Also with the infamous shower level it’s actually not that bad. All you have to do is turn off each faucet thing so the mainliners stop spawning.<br><br> And also you can get rid of the fire in the middle of the doorway by turning on the sink right next to it. It’s stuffed with something so the water overflows and puts out the fire. or I think you can shoot the fire extinguisher that’s also next to it.

Alright, hold up. A prison on an Island. A theme of rebirth. A vengeful Ghost Warden. You sure Mob of the Dead wasn't inspired by this game?

On first person mode... When you're in the showers and fighting Hermes, you don't get the animation for turning valves so it goes faster. Those are the only places to my recollection where it's useful, but GOD is it useful there.

As some one who played the suffering 1 and 2 religiously back in the day and through the years ill give you a summary of nitpicks and directions:<br><br>"Damn showers" - Turn them off, they have valves, just like the real ones!<br><br>"Damn fire,oh walk through it" - Theres an extinguisher right besides it,interact with it (break it by shooting or with melee) and the fire gets extinguished, just like a real one!<br><br>If you stay with the insanity metter full all the time you get flashes of visions constantly,i think its meant to represent pent up anger<br><br>While transformed, you have two extra attacks, with one you can pierce enemies with its left arm (the one with the big ass shank) and if you press the jump button torque does a ground smash which can become more powerful and gain different effects depending on how many enemies you kill when transformed, sort of like getting exp in a leveling system,i only mention these because i dont think i saw you using any in the entire video (correct me if im wrong)<br><br>You can "craft" a makeshift flame thrower, you find the instructions and the pieces along the way just with a minuscule amount of exploration,to be honest i have never seen anyone who analyzes this game ever manage to get it despite how easy it is to get.<br><br><br>I am 99% sure you can hear Consuela trying to communicate with carnate island to find Ernesto, his husband,i dont quite remember the exact spot but it cant be missed since you walk thorugh the exact spot and have to be there for longer than a minute, the audio can be heard right away,i believe you somehow didnt picked up on it or decided to not show it,the remaining 1% is me mixing up both games audio lore because like i said,i played them *a lot*,multiple times to see all differences and back to back all the time.<br><br>Since all cutscenes are rendered ingame, you can mess with them a lot as long as you know where the triggers are,the funniest one was killing npcs or enemies from a cutscene for interesting results (cutscenes not playing or npcs obviously abscent because you blow them off with a grenade mid-cutscene),you can also kill yourself in the middle of a cutscene, the best part is right as you reach the docks at the end,if you throw a molotov at the floor torque just casually walks through it during the cutscene and dies.<br><br>As stated in the delevoper commetary,Torque was specifically designed to not look like any specific race or ethnicity and with caveman-like features to really drive home how much of a beast he is,dont forget that according to Clem's notes,he sees him in his dreams tearing monsters apart with his bare hands but that archive page is only unlocked if you get the neutral ending, while the bad ending unlocks the page about the last boss which is torques hatred manifested and iirc the good ending unlocks Carmen's page.<br><br>As for the video itself,i really enjoyed it from beggining to end, glad you were able to see past its shortcomings and get something good out of this old gem,the way you talked about the lore surrounding the island and the characters was very engaging.
