  Absolutely. &nbsp;Also, notice how these guys were a true team. &nbsp;Going out with their teammates and their wives, sticking up for one another, etc. &nbsp;I don&apos;t think professional athletes have that same passion today.<br> &nbsp;

  The biography of Yogi Berra written by Allen Barra stated that the unruly people at the Copa were actually shouting racist stuff at Sammy Davis, and the Yankee players shouted back at the hecklers -- the players weren&apos;t racists at all, and they accepted Elston Howard warmly, in fact, I think he had recently joined the team around the time of the Copa incident.

  Haha &quot; Boys will be boys&quot;! Wish I would&apos;ve been born in the 30&apos;s or Early 40&apos;s, so I could&apos;ve seen my Yankees back in the 50&apos;s! Billy, Yogi, Mantle &amp; Ford when they were young, were a force to be reckoned with!

  According to Yogi, it was Billy Martin who told the heckler to shut his mouth. He didn&apos;t so Billy said alright let&apos;s go outside so they went downstairs and Hank Bauer clocked the guy with one punch and the guy was carried out on a stretcher.

  if i could be anyone, it would be mickey in his prime. i know that he was unhappy deep down but what fun they must&apos;ve had.
