  My mother’s a boy mom. I love my brother, but we’re not close. It was hard not to resent him, even though it wasn’t his fault she didn’t like me. BoyMoms take note: you’re ruining <i>every</i> relationship, including the one he has with you. My mom never sees either of us.

  One of my favorite comments I’ve heard ppl make about these insane boy moms is if you reversed the genders on both ends, the fathers would be arrested and charged SO EFFING QUICKLY. But since it’s moms obsessing with their sons it’s somehow acceptable???? The double standard with this disgusting behavior is insaneeeee

  Internalized misogyny is a hell of a drug. Centering men to the point where your sense of self-worth comes from being a pick-me to your own offspring is just sad. And that doesn’t even take into account that these women are destroying their boys’ chances at healthy relationships to meet that need to be picked.
