  I work with a guy who speaks Spanish with a southern (American) accent, and the Spanish speakers in our place love him. He speaks so dang clearly that all of us understand him perfectly. His attitude has always been &quot;if for whatever reason I am never able to perfectly pick up the accent, I should at least be able to be communicate effectively.&quot; &nbsp;<br><br>We&apos;re from the same area of the US, so hearing him speak Spanish that way kind of reminds me of the old-timers from back home who spoke that way.

  I enjoy comparing word endings in different Romance languages!<br>The Spanish -cion is -tion in French, -cao in Portuguese and -zione in Italian. (It was -tio in Latin.)<br>The Spanish -dad is -te in French -dade in Portuguese and -ta in Italian. (It was -tas in Latin.)

  However, never forget taht every single person is diferent, so don&apos;t be afraid o learn your own way. Listen to advices, try, and keep what is useful for you. One of my student (in French), struggle so much to remember ( in French) the verb &quot;do&quot; &quot;can&quot; &quot;must&quot;, because in her brain, it&apos;s not a key word, not an important word. So, a usual tip good for 90% of students can be not for you. /// By the way, as a French teacher, learning many languages by myself, I 100% agree of everything in this video. i hope it gave you confidence that you can learn spanish without pain. Because it&apos;s posible to comunicate pretty quicly. And for conjugation, I encountered a few students, who were fluent in French, but thay didn&apos;t conjugate anything... it&apos;s &nbsp;absolutely understable. So don&apos;t let you dazzled by conjugations, it will come also like a music. However, if your brain is very analytic, don&apos;t dprave yoursel of tables !!!

  First of all, if you ‘don’t have time’ that’s just a synonym for ‘I don’t want it enough’. If you want it enough, you have the time. That aside, as a self-taught Spanish speaker, here’s my own recommendation: focus intensively on these 10 key very / most commonly-used verbs ~ ir, ser, estar, hacer, poder, haber, tener, deber, querer and saber. These are the key to everything and unlock the whole language; the foundation to your Spanish language house. I would batter them in repeated grammar drills: every tense; every mood. If you master these, you are well on your way to speaking the language! Suerte!

  I&apos;m finding that using ASL along with my spoken language creates bridges of sight understood words. I hear it&apos;s why Italians talk with their hands. Trying Italian &apos;cause I&apos;m feeling that I need to learn something easy. &nbsp;Algo fácil y relajante.
