  I”m a little surprised you didn’t mention Doggerland at all. <br>Definitely saw the Byford Dolphin disaster coming. But there’s one that’s more eerie. The event inspired the movie “Last Breath” where a sat-diver was stranded at the bottom of the North Sea. No heat, no light, no radio, no <i>oxygen</i> &nbsp;He was down there, without air… for twenty-nine minutes. The crew, meanwhile, was scrambling to get to him, knowing they were in a desperate race against time. Here’s the stunning part… that diver survived. He was recovered, pulled into the bell, and was a bit dazed after waking up. But undeniably alive. He even got married later! And no brain damage, despite being without air for so long. Doctors really can’t explain it, other than it’s truly a miracle. The Sea didn’t want him yet.

  I sailed on the North Sea as a young Norwegian sailor. It was dark, cold and the sea was rough. In 1980, the biggest accident on the oil field occurred. The Residential rig Alexander Kielland broke and capsized in the storm, killing 123 people. We have found the treasure in the North Sea, the oil. But it is a dangerous treasure that has cost several lives.

One time, he was welding and just doing his job. &nbsp;He suddenly sensed movement behind him in the blackness, &nbsp;he immediately thought the worst &quot;shark&quot;. &nbsp;He lit up the torch and turned to find out what it was... he never did see it. But he knew he was being stalked and got back into the bell.

  When I was 16...<br>My dad owned a 60ft whitbread racing sailboat.<br>We sailed through the channel. Belgium to the Netherlands.<br>In a storm.<br><br>I got sick.<br>Badly...<br>Threw up. Showering everyone behind me.<br><br>The Northsea is crazy. Even in the shallows, close by land.

  Yesss! Thank you! Ive been curious about the North Sea. I love the ocean but I also find it terrifying.<br><br>How those divers died is absolutely horrific.

  I was going to mention that I love the visuals too. &nbsp;The new ones that are like a pool of warmth in the darkness, and, the old ones that blue, green and creepy. &nbsp;Also, the one of you that reminds me of the Lofi study girl. &nbsp;The show is also awesome!!! &nbsp;of course :P
