Idk if she will be the biggest artist in the world at any point. Idk if any new artist will matter more to the public than the ones with legacies, since new artists can’t build them in the same way

I absolutely respect a theatrical performance (love Doechii's stuff so much) and I think I agree with the overall point of the video, but I don't love the implication that a big expensive production with backup dancers or elaborate stage design is absolutely necessary for a good live performance. Maybe just the choice of performances shown in this video, but... I've seen plenty of smaller artists playing on small stages, the thing making a performance good isn't any of the superfluous visual stuff (although that is a nice bonus) it's just. passion for the craft and charisma. Anyway I can recommend looking up a video of Seven Spires performing Love's Souvenir, which completely blew me away when I saw them opening for Ad Infinitum a couple of months ago

BTS are my greatest live performers, born for the stage! 🐐🔥

A masterclass in theatrics and storytelling through visuals and movements , a complet package :the techniques, musicality and artistry + emotional connection, the aura and their charisma . it's on the stage, music videos/dance performances and their discography. It’s who they’re. it is soooo fun to study them. They’re brilliant and excel at all. With different concepts and eras too, the versatility in their music/production = different characters and expressions. love too that they mix different mediums, from film, inventive visuals, stage designs to fashion, hair, makeup and dance.

SO passionate and hard working, INSANE work ethic and discipline. their focus and determination to constantly hone their talents, experiment and grow artistically , they practice like crazy, are athletics. true perfectionists to deliver peak performances. to make the music that speak to their hearts, is authentic and sincere.

Another astonishing thing and what's unique to them is their individuality, their depth, their personality and confidence, seasoned dancers in various styles. I have to mention them as MCs and vocalists. multidimensional skillset

And when its without all that, BTS is BTS, mic and talent, they're great because they are. as powerfull performers and creatives, naturally expressive, and their hearts and sincerity still at the forefront . the music speaks for itself.

I feel like this kind of theatricality has also revitalized Rock and Metal.

Look at the success of Ghost or Gojira’s performance at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony that captured everyone’s attention and compare them to the groups we had representing mainstream rock for ages that were affecting this “grungy but not too grungy” or generally lower-key energy. (Think Nickelback, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons.)

Now we have the theatric rock greats of the early 2000s coming back in style alongside these newer acts. Like how My Chemical Romance’s new tour has an ongoing lore that fans engage with and discuss beyond the concerts themselves.
