What I love about your channel is that you teach the actual piano parts! Most channels show include the melody. I appreciate why this video is important but, please don’t stop doing what you’re doing, Pierre! Cheers!

I just found your channel and as a guitar player, I’m actually learning a lot. Makes a different part of my brain fire and is making music refreshing to learn again. Have felt a little stale lately after 30 years on the guitar. I also like that you teach the actual parts but I think this is an important topic too.

Thanks for this video. Made a lot of sense to me. Luckily I have incorporated some variations when learning new tunes. Used my ear to hear what musicians have been doing with some limited success.

Great techniques! &nbsp; When I played keyboard in a band back in the day, I had a Fender Rhodes, Arp Omni and Arp Odyssey and depending on the song, I would have to incorporate parts on all three instruments. The Omni had great strings and I could set up the Odyssey to sound like a flute, sax or trumpet. It was sometimes a juggling act to cover all the important parts of a song, but it was so much fun when you were able to seamlessly bring all the parts together. &nbsp;I really miss those days.

Thanks Pierre for a wonderful keyboard demonstration and explanation how to play chord + melody of the song together in one perfect harmony examples here in this video. &nbsp;I usually preferred using the RH last 3 fingers to play the melody of the song (90% or more) are written in chord tone ( 1 3 5 ) or pentatonic scale (1 2 3 5 6 ).<br>Example &nbsp;: &nbsp;Amazing Grace - Key G where song&apos;s melody mostly written &amp; played in &nbsp;[ G A B D E ].
