  Kalahnikov always had the advantage in trials due to being a combat veteran!! he knew exactly what was needed and what would work and what would be a constant pain!!

  In the army I had the PKMB version, it is a version with an integrated bipod stock designed for mounting on an APC, I served on the SA-13 set where the machine gun was with the commander. It could be used either mounted on a vehicle or as an infantry machine gun. The PKMB VERSION had a shorter barrel than the PKM version, only a few cm. This weapon was incredibly accurate, the fire control was perfect, I could shoot short bursts, long bursts but I could also shoot single rounds without any problems. The weapon was also very accurate. During one exercise I had 25 rounds for a shooting task. I shot down 6 targets in the shape of a standing soldier at a distance of 200-300m. and 11 targets at a distance of 400m which had the shape of an enemy machine gun position. Basically, I shot everything individually!!! I just adjusted the sight, aimed at the target and briefly pulled the trigger. one shot, the target fell, another one shot, another target fell.

  In military I had opportunity to wield a PKM for a few months.<br>It was the most beautiful gun across all others. <br>It had its quirks, that your body carried to marks for weeks, but when you got it placed in the firing position, you felt being the unstoppable. <br>You swept the battlefield with ease all the way to 600-800 meters. <br><br>Decades later, I can still feel the recoil... The feeling when you attach new can and slam it shut and shoot next 500 rounds. <br>The seconds felt ages when it streamed fire. <br>At night it was just so beautiful to have every 5th cartridge with tracer.<br><br>If I would be allowed to do one change, and only one thing. I think it would be to redesign the 200 cartridge belt can to not to be so F*n annoyingly square against your body!<br>When you patrolled 50 km on foot with that thing in the 9 hours, I swear you had a can size dent in your body that hurt as hell just by looking at it. <br><br>I truly think that just by rotating the can 90 degrees around, would have made it so much nicer to carry in ready. <br><br>The holy three.<br>AK-47<br>PKM<br>SVD<br><br>(I never shot with the AK-47, but a better clone one).<br><br>I never got a change to use a RPG-7. But I expect it to be similar in performance. <br>My experience is from M72A5 (M72 LAW) and it was great when you were in the recon patrol, as it was so tiny. It was so easy to sneak close to the vehicles for firing position. But that is practically where it ends for me. The pulling it to firing condition was cool, but the firing process was annoying as hell. But the sling was a F:n shit, as that thing swing around all over the places if you didn&apos;t properly tie it to your body or equipment when you had full load. <br><br>To that, I think the RPG-7 would have been superior combo, carry gun (launcher) + 4-5 rockets, instead a 4-5 of the MLAW would be very welcomed IMHO. <br><br>Oh, and then the NSV... So wonderful Heavy Machine Gun.<br>So add it to the list of holy trinity as the additional one.
