  When the data stream went live in February, it was only to test out the system. They were only taking observations of one field maybe once a week as a part of commissioning and feeding that into the data pipeline to test it. Then when the survey finally began in late June, just 2 weeks later there was a historic snowstorm in chile that has taken the observatory offline, and they expect it'll be a few more weeks before they get it started again. So we've really only gotten a few nights of survey data (which were also lower quality than most of it will be, since they're still calibrating everything)

  Is it just me, or does the Very Rubin telescope look a LOT like a sphinx lounging on top of a mountain?...I love it! Besides all the scientific achievements it&apos;ll produce

  I made that mistake TWICE!!!<br>I flew my Viper Attack Craft into the rings of a ringed planet (orbiting Altair, I think), only to have my engine&apos;s Frame Shift Drive immediately shut down!<br>I did it again some time later (accidentally) in my Asp Explorer...<br>The game was Elite: Dangerous!! It&apos;s still the best space based game in the Solar System!!
