  Cyber punk is way underrated. &nbsp;Really good album, ahead of its time by 10 - 15 years.

  Cyberpunk is the album that made me fall in love with Billy Idol. He had always been a joke to me, with the &quot;White Wedding&quot; stuff. I was in college when Cyberpunk came out. I&apos;m a computer programmer, and at the time I loved cyberpunk novels and the whole movement, which at the time was very new and underground. The Cyberpunk album has great songs, like a heroin dream of sailing on a clipper ship, and a voice opening that points out that the predicted nuclear war never happened. It&apos;s the deepest metal album ever made, and a great example of the grunge music of the times.

  Big fan of Cyberpunk. <br>Biut it didn’t come with a CD rom. It was a diskette. <br>Or, the later stage Floppy, if you will. <br>Killer tracks on this album. Shame nobody got it. His first album, he was experimenting with different tech to create the sound he wanted. RIP Cyberpunk.

  I have a concert recording of Queen in support of that album, and Freddie acknowledged the backlash onstage saying calm down &quot;it&apos;s just a bloody record&quot; A true statement if there ever was.

  I like Risk and Generation Swine. I saw Motley for that tour and had an experience that will live in my memory forever. If you know the song SOS you may be able to imagine what I saw that night. If you got the deluxe St. Anger there was a dvd of them doing the songs in the studio that was mixed better than the album version. I also, tragically, own a copy of LuLu. I&apos;ve never listened to the whole album, maybe two or three songs.

  I remember how excited we were for a new Crue album once they brought Vince back. &nbsp;And the record company was pushing it enough that they had listening parties all over the country. &nbsp;I was living in a Kansas town of only about 25,000 people at the time, and they had even set up a listening party at a bar there. &nbsp;I was very happy that I won a copy of the album at that party. &nbsp;After hearing it, I was happy I won it for another reason. &nbsp;I hadn&apos;t wasted any money on it.

  &quot;Cyberpunk&quot; had all that good things that I later found in KMFDM - dystopian theatre, punk-pop-techno-rock-n-roll vibes (but with less keen lyrics, I must admit). Also that was my first legal cd which means something when you are a poor student in Moscow. It still plays well. Some songs aged better than others.
