The Horten 229 is also called the Gotha 229. It was designed by the Horten brothers and built by Gotha. The brothers built their first flying wing, a glider, in their parents living room IIRC.

Named as the Original created and highly experimental Horten two-engine jet fighter/flying wing from WWII, designed by the Horten Brothers and built to near completion in their Factory in Germany. US soldiers found the Factory and took the plane back to the US for testing, and it is still in a museum in the US!
