  As an expat who has lived/worked in Japan for the past 25+ years, I can confirm: a Zombie apocalypse is 100% preferable to Japan's work culture.

  What would I do if the zombie apocalypse allowed me to take some time off work? Well, first I would run a lot more. Second, I would find myself moaning a lot more than I normally do. I would also develop a much stronger desire for the flesh of the living.

  the anime covers most of the problems that were in the live action where akira uses the car alarm while hiding nearby instead of the speaker to save his friend, the bus scene had ppl running out cuz someone got bit so they couldnt stay.

  Tbf, I totally relate to the protagonist wanting to enjoy his life while the apocalypse it hitting in. I had the first boss I had being a dick like that and made me work day and night. As soon as I left the job, I literally went to enjoy jobless status for 2 months and loved it

  The MC is not trying to survive. He is trying to live. His bucket list contains things he wants to do "before becoming a zombie." Your mindset is more like the female love interest 2, who is looking at all practical options to survive. The MC will not do the most optimal thing to survive. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT! He wants to make memories and enjoy the time he has left.

  Changes from the anime:<br><br>1: Akira almost commitssuicide by stepping in front of a train on the way home before finding the zombie chomping his landlady.<br><br>2: His crush doesn&apos;t call him or leave him any sort of message, He goes to her place on his own accord unprompted to save her in hopes she is alive.<br><br>3: Akira saves his buddy by using car horns as a distraction and even after that they have to jump from a rooftop to the next to survive. His friend scrapes his balls off the ledge of the roof cuz funni.<br><br>4, There is no bus of survivors to drive them into the store. And Shizuka doesn&apos;t join them there, nor is she present at all. Instead he and his bud are looking for a big screen tv and they get trapped with flight attendants in a store who they try to pick up (buddy get&apos;s lucky.) But Akira strikes out but emotionally connects with one of the girls. But the dude who was there was bit and the 3 attendants die.<br><br>5: Shizuka and him run into each other again at the aquarium, but she still doesn&apos;t join him. Instead they meet up later accidentally again, while looking at mobile homes. And then she joins him because she doesn&apos;t have a license.<br><br>6: Akira&apos;s manager hits on Shizuka a ton and is eventually stood up to by akrira and is pointed out as the bully he is. He&apos;s then promptly abandoned, his fate unknown. most of the people there survive I believe actually.<br><br>7: They pick up a german girl named Beatrix and go get Suishi and take a dip in the hot springs. Shizuka never joins the men in the bath before this point.<br><br>8: They go off to Akira&apos;s hometown, where they find out his dad is sick (It&apos;s just really bad ass blisters.) they makeup and then they face off against a group of psycho&apos;s and societal rejects who traveled there with an evil bucketlist of 100 things to do.

  If there’s anything I learned from this channel it’s how to tie a proper tourniquet , Distractions are key , have a plan and expect the plan to wrong 😭
