I am in total agreement with you, Nikki. Animals need to have their natural behavior. Factory farming chickens or other animals is heartbreaking. The pond is a great idea. ❤ from California

If the pool area doesn't work out, you can always scoop out the water that you have already put in, let it dry naturally and put in some sand and dirt to make it into their dusting spa! The girls will love it and the rocks really add to the beauty and uniqueness!
