  In Europe those smaller potatoes are on supermarket shelves (no. they are not the new potatoes)<br><br>You just have to create a market for them.

  That is fascinating. I love the up close footage and explanation. Seeing this up close and how it all functions is much better than drone footage for me. What a crappy time to get injured.

  Just rolled past your area yesterday after a road trip to the Black Hills in SD. &nbsp;Stayed in Dubois WY, then headed to Idaho Falls and on down past Pocatello and on to Twin Falls. &nbsp;Made it back to the wet side of the PNW today. &nbsp;Saw plenty of spud harvesting going on, plus lots of other fall harvest activities both yesterday and today (corn, hay, onions, etc). &nbsp;Hope y&apos;all get a decent harvest and can meet the contracts....more food for a hungry world.

  The smaller potatos are the choice if you want to make potato salad, because they hold together much better then the big ones. In Germany we boil them complete with skin in salted water and eat them with quark cheese. They are named Pellkartoffeln in German. Yummy!

  Hey Big &quot;T&quot; can you show us how critical it is to set the dig depth your Tractor Operator has to go so the Potato combine doesn&apos;t get full of Dirt clods? I worked on a Potato Combine growing up in the 70&apos;s and 80&apos;s out off the Arco Highway. Hated when our Tractor Operator dug too deep.
