It's so funny seeing Ryan & Matthew showing sibling rivalry, lol. Also, 5:24 I love bananas.

The fact that he still had Joyride in there even after Ryan wouldn't let him use the camera lens was really nice of him.

Great video bro! So cool you made a physical camera. Maybe it’s not 4k but just the story behind the shots makes it so much more valuable 🔥

To use .dng files in Premiere Pro, import them as an Image Sequence through the file importer, allowing Premiere to treat a folder of RAW stills as a single, high-resolution video clip. While native support for CinemaDNG exists, using SSD storage is essential for smooth playback of these uncompressed RAW files!

As a camera guy the camera actually has a really cool nostalgic aesthetic to it, great work! this kind of hobby will always go way over my head, Ive messed around with an Arduino but thats as far as I got, so hats off to you for Troubleshooting all of that code, you should make some sort of silly device for Ryan and collab!

Possibly my favorite video from you thus far. You're rediscovering what it's like to have a dedicated video camera for filming, and like you said, "Being focused and in the moment." Takes me back to filming with the family Panasonic Mini DV camcorder. Those were the days. It still had better overall video and sound recording (lower resolution aside) then a modern smartphone. And there's just something about manipulating real buttons.

Video guy here. The standard for shutter speed is double your framerate for the most natural look. So if you're shooting in 24fps, the shutter speed should be 48 or as close as your camera will get.

For clarification, someone else said that it should be double your focal length. That's true for photography, but not video.

Cool video, I've been curious about the cinepi.

I love that you are into building things. And with Ryan’s style of work, it’s like two amazing types of stuff put together to make this video. Awesome build!
