Franck's Violin Sonata in A major is indeed a captivating work. Its most alluring aspect lies precisely in the natural integration of melodic and structural beauty. The first movement, in particular, with its expansive, lyrical theme, is not merely "pleasant to listen to," but carries an inner emotional tension; the fourth movement is even warmer and more brilliant, like a release after the emotional build-up of the preceding movements.
Furthermore, Franck makes extensive use of cyclical forms, allowing musical material from earlier movements to reappear in later ones. Therefore, the entire sonata sounds both independently melodic and possesses a cohesive, interconnected feel.
If I had to describe it in one sentence, I would say: this is not a violin sonata that relies on virtuosity, but a work that truly moves the listener through its melody and musicality.

Wonderful performance! Please credit Jean-Sélim Abdelmoula equally with Anastasia Kobekina in the titles - this is chamber music.
