In theaters in 1982, you'd get your popcorn and go into a movie blind and be transported into another world. I thought they'd make movies like "BladeRunner" forever. How times have changed.

The tone, visual effects, costumes, cinematography, production design (including miniatures), and music in this movie are all S-tier.

The real significance of the origami at the end is that it was a unicorn, which was in Deckard's dreams. The only way someone else could know what Deckard dreams about is if he is a replicant and his memories are implanted.

The score is by Vangelis. One of the greatest scores in any movie of all time, in my opinion. I especially like the closing theme.

The effect with Rachel's eyes was a very technical co-axial process. They had to set up a light offstage with a semi-transparent mirror at a 45˚ angle in front of the camera to catch the light and shine it into her eyes.
