Surprisingly Beautiful Belarusian City Near the Russian Border

Hello from Vitebsk! Today, we're exploring the 4th-largest city in Belarus, located not far from the Russian border. Vitebsk is also one of the oldest cities in the country, with a history dating back more than 1,000 years. The city has many interesting sights, and one of them we'll explore in this video is the Assumption Cathedral. The church sits on a hill above the Dvina River, making the city panorama even more beautiful. Vitebsk really surprised us with its beauty. We only had a few hours to explore the city, but it was definitely enough to make us want to come back.
