I’ve always thought that humans are way too fragile for any lengthy space travel. It seems to me that robots sent into deep space could offer necessary information to help solve some of these challenges. However, I still feel that human will always be too fragile.

I heard a short report about the JAMES WEBB telescope when they were first started to deploy it. Something about a very small pebble striking on one of the mirrors. I never heard any more about it so I don't know if that was true.
