  Racing rules get rewritten all the time to make competition better. Weight minimums, aero, restrictors, displacement limits,etc. have been part of the game since the ‘70s. Anyone who has been involved in professional racing has seen this. Pontiac gets less rear spoiler. Chevrolet gets more front air dam. Ford gets a hoodline change. All-American Racers Toyotas got a weight penalty followed by a throttle body restrictor in the same season. It’s nothing new.

  Nissan Skyline rules... had a few Datsuns, 1600 and then a 180B. I did love the cockpit of the Mazda R100 and cruising for hours with only the high-beam light showing on the dash, but later the Rx2 had more grunt. Was tempted to buy a Rx7 ..... :hand-pink-waving:

  Soo basically this vid is Japanese cars dominate and mostly European car manufacturers complain because they have inferior cars and rules get changed.

  Those people would have  use  even anti gravity technology if were allowed . They builted anti gravity train decades ago .

  at 6.46 you see the granddaddy of Lancer evo. 1981 Lancer EX 2000 turbo 170hp 1050kg in street version, I don't know what the rally version does.
